FAQ "My Katholikentag" account
If you want to take part in the Katholikentag, you need a ticket. You can easily order this online. To process this, we ask you to create a "My Katholikentag" account so that invoicing is possible.
In addition, "My Katholikentag" offers you the advantage of managing your participation. You can buy more tickets if you wish or put together your own programme via it. You can then in turn also display this in the app, for example, if you synchronise your account.
When you register with "My Katholikentag", you create a user account with which you can manage your participation. Whether as a contributor or as a participant: There you have the possibility to view, edit and send your application, buy tickets and compile your own programme.
If you created your account in the last few years, the e-mail address you entered is also your user name (e.g. email@example.com). If you have an older account, the user name may also be different.
Have you forgotten your user name? Then please send an e-mail to service(at)katholikentag.de and we will send you your user name. Alternatively, you can contact us at +49 711 20 70 384 0. At your request, we can also match the user name to your e-mail address.
You can then simply use the "Forgotten password" function below the "Log in" button in the menu item "My Katholikentag". You will then receive an e-mail with a link that you can click once or copy into your internet browser as an address. There you can set a new password yourself and then use your account as usual.
For security reasons, the link in the e-mail is only valid for 24 hours, after which you must select "Forgotten password" again to receive a new, valid link.
Please note that we cannot view or change passwords over the phone. If the function on the website does not work, you can also send us an e-mail to service(at)katholikentag.de and we will send you the link to reset it.
If a user account has already been created with your e-mail address, you cannot register again. If necessary, please use the "Forgot password" function to set a new password.
Sending the confirmation e-mail can sometimes take a few minutes. If you still have not received an e-mail after ten minutes, please also check your spam folder or add the addresses service(at)katholikentag.de, info(at)katholikentag.de and rechnungen(at)katholikentag.de to your contacts so that they are not accidentally sorted as spam.
If you have mistyped your e-mail address in the form, no e-mail can be delivered either. To rule this out, please try registering again. If this is possible, you mistyped your e-mail address the first time and will receive a new confirmation e-mail. Otherwise, you will receive the error message that the user name (= e-mail address) is already taken.
If none of these solutions help, please call us at +49 711 20 70 384 0 while you are accessing the internet and your e-mails yourself. We will then look for a solution together.
Please check whether you have entered the correct user name (= e-mail address) and password. If you are not sure of the password, please use the "Forgot password" function to determine a new password.
If you use unusual special characters (e.g. §), this can sometimes lead to problems. In this case, please also reset your password and choose a different combination of letters, numbers and special characters such as "+*'!". If you try to log in with your smartphone or tablet, errors may occur. If you try to access from such a device and it does not work, please choose another device. Cookies must be allowed in order to log in. Please adjust your settings if necessary.
