From 9th to 13th May 2018, you will have the chance to visit more than ten thousand different events and sessions in the city of Muenster.
Please remember that Katholikentage are German events, most of the participants are Germans and our sessions and events usually take place in German language.
For participating, you are asked to sign-in and buy a ticket. You can easily register via "Mein Katholikentag", our online-registration-tool, following these steps:
First, you have to set up an account by typing your e-mail-address and your own keyword. Afterwards, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a hyperlink. Please use it to set your account. Then, you will be asked to complete an application form and also choose the type of ticket you want to buy. More information about our tickets follow below.
Paying is simple: You can pay your ticket online via online payment.
There are several types of tickets:
You can buy a commutation ticket to participate the whole convention (EU 87). We also offer tickets for single days or evening sessions (day pass: EU 28, evening: EU 17). Families are able to purchase family tickets (EU 127).
There are several rights to reductions: Persons aged under 25 or over 65 years, still going to school or studying, people with disabilities or having any restricted living conditions.
Please let us know! With reduction, the ticket price will change: reduced commutation ticket EU 63, reduced single day ticket EU 22.
Early bird discount for registrations and sign-ins prior to 15th March 2018: commutation tickets for EU 77, reduced commutation ticket for EU 53 and family tickets for EU 107.
Please notice that our tickets are season tickets and do not entitle its owner to visit a specific event. In case of overcrowding, the management is allowed to close locations.
Your journey to Muenster
Katholikentage are German events and most of the participants are Germans. Of course, we extend a warm welcome to foreign guests and visitors. Nevertheless, we ask you to organize your journey to Muenster for your own.
Your ticket will include short-range public transportation like bus and train in the proximity. Even so, we dedicate the duty of applying for a visa and booking flights or trains to you.
Your stay in Muenster
For the duration of Katholikentag, we offer participants overnight accommodation especially in communal accommodation like schools. Several families in Muenster and surround provide homestay. There is also a huge amount of campsites and hotels.
